Texas A&M Hosts Same Sex Marriage Debate

From The Battalion News:
"A debate over the positive and negative effects that legalizing same-sex marriage would have on the institution of marriage and the family was held Thursday at the J. Wayne Stark University Center."
There isn't anything very earth shaking in this article except for the fact that it took place on Texas A&M campus. A&M is not exactly the most liberal of institutions. I remember going to check it out when I was in high school and considering which university to attend. It definitely had a ultra-conservative vibe.
"I think it was a very good debate," he said. "We (usually) don't get to hear both sides in a clear manner. Too often this issue is too emotionally charged to get anything done."
Nice to see this take place.
