USGA Recognizes Transsexual Competitors

From Gay News at Gay.com:
"The United States Golf Association announced Monday it has adopted a new policy that allows transsexual athletes to compete in USGA golf championships, including the upcoming U.S. Women's Open."
I don't know why I posted this. I really don't have a dog in the transgendered/transsexual fight as I am happy in the body I have. But I do support rights for all and it is always nice seeing someone finally recognized and included. I have several friends who are transsexual and though I don't necessarily understand it myself, I certainly feel they have the right to be who and what they are. Just like the rest of us.
